Engagement shoot in Greenwich, London

Just before Christmas I had the pleasure of doing an engagement shoot for a lovely couple, Nevra and Hansel, in Greenwich. Weirdly, I had never done a photoshoot in this area before even though I have been shooting in London for years, even before moving here! Nevra and Hansel live in Greenwich and wanted engagement photos around the streets they visit daily. Having your photo taken in places you know and love can be such a comforting experience, hence why I also shoot a lot in people’s homes. In fact, we started the photoshoot at their house and then went out to explore the streets of Greenwich together. 

Of course we went around the Royal Observatory, capturing some stunning photos of them with the stunning architecture dipped in gold sunset light. The London skyline always delivers in terms of perfect backdrop.

We walked along the Thames, through Greenwich market, talked a lot, laughed a lot and had a great time. Nevra and Hansel were so comfortable in front of the camera, total pros! 

The shoot was so much fun, and I hope the photos we captured will be treasured for years to come.
