HI! IT'S NADIA + HERE'S WHY I CAN TEACH YOU
In 2009, I shot my first wedding for a friend, and in 2010, I landed my first paid gig at a wedding. It was a disaster and I hated it, which of course prompted me to start my own business. Since then, I've photographed hundreds of destination weddings worldwide, ranging from extravagant million-dollar events to intimate elopements. Thankfully, after that first disaster, I completely fell in love with photography.
Over the course of a decade I have gained significant experience which I have shared through workshops and mentoring sessions for photographers since 2012. I've also had the opportunity to speak on various stages across Europe, and in 2017, I became a Nikon Europe ambassador, which allowed me to speak in places like Photokina, have my work exhibited and judge the annual Nikon Photocontest in Tokyo in 2019.
In 2014, I launched The Signature Style System, which helps photographers define and refine their style and approach to photography, rather than becoming a mere copycat in an oversaturated industry.
In 2020, after a decade in the wedding industry, I shifted my focus to portrait photography, which has provided me with a fresh perspective and a newfound appreciation for our beautiful art form. While it's been a challenging transition, the last three years have already taught me a lot of new valuable lessons and skills. In February I shot some of the BAFTA nominees getting ready for the award show and I know I am only warming up for bigger things to come.
As a teacher, I'm committed to sharing everything I know and don't know, because I operate with a zero bullshit policy. I like being practical, whether that's photography, the business side of things, my biggest mistakes, and my personal approach to and vision behind photography.
Fair warning to you: I take a holistic approach to teaching, recognising that who we are outside of work inevitably impacts what we do professionally. Therefore, I'll always dig deeper than the surface to help you succeed in your business and personal life.

If what you need is some practical learning, I got you.
Just like the online consulting, but in person! We tackle the questions you bring to the table and I will be demonstrating how I work and approach every human at a shoot by taking some portraits of you.
Please note this is not an opportunity to get a discounted photoshoot, there is no guarantee of image delivery - It's very much a custom learning environment. Limited to 2 spaces a month.
