So excited to finally be sharing these photos! I was over the moon when I found out I was going to be photographing the preparation of the nominees for the BAFTAs 2023 at the Savoy in London back in February.
The hotel was buzzing with energy and excitement as the nominees mingled with stylists, makeup artists, and hairdressers. The glam squad was made up by Lancôme, ghd and Bulgari, who were working hard nonstop all weekend and they did an incredible job. There were people everywhere around the suites, hallways, getting ready for the big night and then there was me, basically acting as a fly on the wall; capturing candids of people hanging out and getting glammed up and drinking a huge amount of hot chocolate provided by the great aroma baristas.
My favourite part of the weekend was getting to take portraits of some of the nominees and influencers who attended as well. One - on - one connection is my big love and meeting everyone was a real joy. I only had a couple of minutes with each person and limited space to work with because the suites were so busy - but I can take a challenge.
